Banff National Park in the Canadian rockies is absolutely stunning! There are so many cool lakes to visit and jagged mountains to explore. Most of the lakes in the park have a high content of glacier silt deposit, so the water in the lakes turn neon and baby blue. The lakes are bowled in the mountains and each lake has a different lookout point to climb to. Banff blew me away with its out-of-this-world scenery and cool lodges, cafes, and hotels scattered throughout.
The view of Peyto Lake must be one of the best views in all of Canada. The neon blue water up against the snowy peaks is out of this world.
Kicking Horse River flows through Banff and Yoho National Park, and is known for its icy blue color.
Lake Moraine is another gorgeous lake in the park.
Mount Engadine Lodge is my favorite little tea stop. Even during the summer, Banff can be pretty chilly.
