My entire extended family is from Canada. Both my parents grew up in Canada, and moved to California right before I was born. I have always loved growing up and visiting Canada. It always feels like home! My mom grew up in the Toronto area, and her entire side of the family lives there still. I have been to Toronto countless times, and I always love visiting Canada’s biggest city.
Toronto is an awesome city to visit. The city is pristine, busy, and lively with delicious restaurants and stylish shops. I would consider Toronto to be the Canadian version of New York, because of its size, skyscrapers, shopping, and prominence in Canada.
The most famous sight in Toronto is the CN Tower. This tower is one of the tallest structures in the world! You can take an elevator up to the restaurant, close to the top, and get 360 views of Toronto and Lake Ontario.
One of my favorite areas in Toronto is Downtown Bloor Street. There is awesome shopping, my favorite being Holt Renfrew, which is a Canadian department store.
The Club Monaco on Bloor Street is my favorite store location!
I love Off-White and they recently put in a location in Yorkville, Toronto. It is one of the few locations in North America.
Yorkville is my favorite shopping in Toronto.
Gee Beauty is my favorite beauty parlor I have ever visited! They sell their own cosmetic line, hold makeup classes, and have estheticians by appointments for eyebrows and more.
Next door to Gee Beauty, is 6 by Gee Beauty, which is their clothing and jewelry store. They have an adorable selection of clothing, accessories, lotions, perfumes, candles, and more. I love love love this little boutique.
Toronto has a Restoration Hardware Cafe in Yorkdale Mall. I always love Restoration Hardware Cafes and Toronto’s is nothing short of amazing. I love the classic interiors and the menu is divine. The soft scramble with avocado Texas toast is to die for! As well as the veggie plate!
I will always have a special place in my heart for the 6!
