One of the things I love most about Europe is the history. Basically, every street in London is lined with stunning, historical architectures that are each so unique and detailed. There are so many sights in London, however, the main sights are conveniently close and within walking distance. There are many ways to get around London, such as cab, bike, bus, or tube (just to name a few), but the act of walking around is so much better than quickly spinning around in a cab or bus to each destination. Personally, I feel more connected to the city when I walk on the streets amongst locals and tourists.
Big Ben is the most popular sight of London. Big Ben is detailed and its beige color pops against the often cloudy skies.
Buckingham Palace!
Trafalgar Square is the a central park in London. It always seems to be busy and bustling with both locals and tourists.
Each street in London has pubs, black cabs, union jack flags, and bustling crowds that cross between the traffic in the narrow roads. The buildings surrounding the sidewalks are multistoried, gray, and decorated with columns and other classic embellishments. London’s cloudy weather and cool-toned architecture makes the famous red buses and phone booths pop out in the streets. Each street in London is so unique and on each corner you turn there is a new restaurant or shop that catches your eye.
Westminster Abbey and Parliamentary buildings are located right next to Big Ben along the Thames.
